If it were just a simple file converter, it could have easily been created to be unobtrusive; it could have worked from the extension pop-up in the upper corner of your browser window. Instead, it replaces your home page/new tab page.

The new tab page is immensely important – it is basically our gateway to the wider internet. Many of us have links to our favorite pages on our new tab, which helps us browse more efficiently.
