Allin1Convert Toolbar is a browser hijacker that is installed to random computers without users’ consent. It changes your browser’s homepage to either home.tb.ask.com or hp.myway.com/Allin1Convert/ttab02/index.html. It also changes your default search provider to search.tb.ask.com. Additionally, the program displays various advertisements that contain sponsored links. The aim of Allin1Convert Toolbar is to advertise websites and to track information about users’ browsing activity. The data about search queries you make, the websites you visit the most, and so on, can be later used for marketing purposes. As a result of this tracking you may soon receive more targeted ads on your computer.

Furthermore, Allin1Convert seems to have tendencies of a browser hijacker. It can make changes to users’ preferences so home pages and new tab pages would start to foster a new searching facility: MyWay. Allin1Convert leads you to MyWay, which is used to show you advertisements. The same goes for Ask.com.

Allin1Convert Toolbar can be installed together with other software, like free music players, download managers, and so on. It gets bundled with them and installed at the same time in the background.

This doesn’t mean you should stop downloading such programs. To avoid Allin1Convert Toolbar and similar applications, you only need to watch your installations more carefully. Make sure you follow the process steps and refuse to install any unknown programs.

Also, Allin1Convert may get on your computer through misleading ads.
