Baidu PC Faster is a system optimizer that promises to clean junk files, disable unnecessary startup items and repair your system in one click. However, since many users have noticed this application to be added without their consent, it is categorized as a potentially unwanted program. Usually, the tool comes bundled to various freeware, such as video or music players, PDF creators and so on.

Once installed, Baidu PC Faster runs a scanner on your system, even if you never asked for this. The scanner is indeed run every time you restart your system.
