CleanPCTool is related to a number of rogue anti-spyware programs, including PCPrivacyTool and YourPrivacyGuard among its clones. They all have the same website with the different name, and are all hosted at 87.117.252.11 in UK. According to its creators and user testimonials, CleanPCTool number-one anti-spyware program, designed to protect your privacy, clean up your disks from malware pests and so on and so forth. However, it does not mention its main quality: that it is a rogue scam.

Once inside, CleanPCTool will display misleading messages, system notifications and run falsified system scans. The reports of these scans will show that your system has been infected with trojans and other malware that were actually put there by the CleanPCTool itself.  This is done with one purpose in mind: to dupe you into purchasing the "full" CleanPCTool version and empty your wallet by another $50.
