Is Clickware a valuable program
Unfortunately, there is no any single good thing that Clickware can do for you. It was simply not made to be helpful for computer owners. The utility has the mission to bring the revenue for the people who distribute it. It displays intrusive ads and sponsored links in your browser. Whenever you click on its ads, the people who stand behind it get the profit. The adware uses the resources of your computer as a platform for generating income. Because of the adware active, your computer will definitely function in an extremely slow manner. Because of Clickware you may expect high CPU usage and permanent system freezing, sometimes resulting in inevitable crashes of Windows.
These are some other things caused by Clickware adware infiltration:
- advertisement banners and sponsored links displayed in many parts of your screen simultaneously, not being related to the websites you visit;
- unauthorized alterations of your default home page and search engine settings, as well as the new tab parameter;
- websites you visit are not properly displayed;
- permanent browser redirections to random websites of extremely bad reputation;
- unexpected pop-ups instructing you to update your Adobe Flash Player, Java or other software;
- installation of other unwanted applications beyond your control.
In addition to the unauthorized browser alterations mentioned above, Clickware is additionally involved in regularly spying over your browsing activities. This actually means that all your search queries, visited websites, IPs and geographic locations will be under the permanent analysis. The information you provide through your browser will be gathered and eventually transferred to third parties absolutely illegally. It may even be sold to online criminals who may manipulate it in many other hazardous ways. Considering these facts, Clickware should be immediately uninstalled from your computer.
How to get rid of Clickware and its ads
It is quite unlikely that the Clickware program will be specified directly among other programs that are decent in your PC. Nevertheless, it is definitely important to first attempt to get rid of unwanted applications manually. So, access the Control Panel, check the applications available in your system right now. If you locate some items that are suspicious and you definitely do not remember installing them directly, remove them right away. Additionally, check your browser extensions (add-ons). Some adware may be functioning within the system by injecting its associated extension. Access the list of browser add-ons, delete anything that looks suspicious.
Once you perform the manual steps to remove the Clickware adware mentioned above, check the list of the processes active in your Task Manager. You may still identify some suspicious services or processes active so they could be the remnants of Clickware or other unwanted utility still active within your system. We recommend that you perform an additional checkup of your computer with the help of either Spyhunter as clearly explained in the guidelines below.
