How to remove Daily.limited ads

Block notification spam

Open the internet browser that is affected by the Daily.limited ads. Then, navigate to the notification settings:

  • Chrome – type “chrome://settings/content/notifications” in the address box.
  • Safari – in the Safari menu, choose Preferences, Websites, Notifications.
  • Edge (Chromium) – type “edge://settings/content/notifications” in the address box.
  • Firefox – open Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down to Permissions, and click on Settings next to Notifications.

Find Daily.limited. Click the button to its right and, from the drop-down, select “Block” (“Deny” on Safari). This stops any new ads from coming. You might still need to dismiss the ones that have already arrived.

Repeat the same for all sites that you don’t want to hear from.

Delete malware

Daily.limited is adware – and adware is often accompanied by other adware and malware. These sites and programs promote each other (because normal sites and ad networks usually ban them). So, it’s recommended to check your computer for malware.

Scan it with an antivirus tool – Spyhunter for Windows, Combo Cleaner for macOS, or another one. Review the scan results. Remove the detected items.

Some antivirus or anti-malware programs have web filters that they use to block malicious and suspicious sites. These scanners could help you avoid sites like Daily.limited. Ad blockers may help, too.

Daily.limited says: Choose allow to receive our daily deals.

Daily.limited uses notifications

Daily.limited shows an image of a coupon that says “Daily Deals” on it. The site’s title is also “Daily Deals”. Below, Daily.limited offers visitors to click the allow button to receive Daily Deals.

The Allow button refers to the notification pop-up. Daily.limited asks your browser to show the notification prompt. It’s meant to let you choose if you want to allow the site to send notifications to your browser.

Notifications can be very helpful or very annoying.

You might want to receive notifications from email inboxes, social media sites, your favorite blog, or any other website that offers them. Notifications can be useful. They appear as little pop-ups in the corner of your screen (or at the top, if you’re using a mobile device) and they don’t need you to be on the website which is showing the notification, which makes them great at providing timely warnings and updates.

Some websites figured that they can use notifications for showing ads. Marketers use them a lot to lure people back to their site.

Then there’s Daily.limited. This site doesn’t seem to have any content. Its existence is just advertising.

Daily.limited is adware

Here’s how Daily.limited works:

  • Gets people to subscribe to its notifications.
  • Gets advertisers to provide material.
  • Relays the ads to subscribers.
  • Collects money from the advertisers.

Daily.limited is different from most notification spammers (Catchnews.clubMessage-alert.info, etc.) in that it offers a privacy policy. According to it, Daily.limited collects info about its users and it may buy such information from other sites. Here’s what the privacy policy says:

Such information may include, but is not limited to, your name, street address, zip code, telephone numbers, birth date, gender, salary range, education, marital status, occupation, industry of employment, personal and online interests, and other information which you provided to the Seller (together, “Vendor List Information”).

Also, here’s another bit from the same privacy policy:

If you agree to allow Notifications, we may send you Notifications that include weather-related updates and advertisements or links other Web sites that contain advertisements.

It lays out very clearly what Daily.limited is and what it does. Lots of sites use the same privacy policy, including Wwww.money and the scam site Sailywinnerclub.com – not a good company for Daily.limited to be in.
