Download n’Save  is an adware program that displays in text and pop-up advertisements, most often coupons. It officially states that the pop-ups displayed will save money since they inform about special offers from eBay, Amazon, Walmart or any other shopping site. Yet many computer users complain that displaying of coupons distract from their work with PC,and pop-up blocking option in Internet browser settings does not end the problem. When trying to remove the toolbar it is complicated to do this because the code hides itself from deletion.

Download n’Save usually is installed together with other software. It comes as an extra code and is often marked to be installed by default. Only if a checkbox is removed during installation, the toolbar will not be activated. Alas many computer users choose an automatic installation and this way get extra unwanted programs.

On IE:

• Click arrow on the right of search box;
• On IE8-9 choose Manage Search providers or on IE7 click change search defaults;
• Remove adware from the list.

On Firefox :

• In url field type “about:config” (without the quotes) and do following =>
• Type “Keyword.url” in the search box. Right click it & reset it.
• Type “browser.search.defaultengine” in the search box. Right click it & reset it.

On Google Chrome:

• Click gear icon on browser toolbar;
• Select Settings;
• Select Basics ->Manage Search engines;
• Remove adware from list.
