About EasyMailLogin adware
EasyMailLogin is browser toolbar that can be installed on all most common web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. Once installed, it will display various advertisements in all kinds of forms, such as pop-up, pop-under, in-text, banner or contextual advertisements. New tab or even window with advertisement on it can be opened at any time as well.
We don’t recommend to click on any of those advertisements because if you do so, you will be immediately redirected to other websites that might be owned by various cyber criminals, such as hackers or scammers. This way your computer can get infected with other viruses or if you attempt to purchase something there you can even get scammed and lose your money.
Another unwanted attribute of EasyMailLogin is data collection. Once installed it will collect your personal information, such as browsing history, search queries, most visited websites or even your IP and email address. They adjust those advertisements according to collected data and make them even more relevant and attractive to you this way, so chances that you will click on one of those advertisements rise. And that’s the main goal of EasyMailLogin because they get paid for every click you make.
Distribution Methods of EasyMailLogin adware
It is travelling the same way as most of other adware – bundled with various freeware that can be downloaded from the Internet. So when you download and install some free media player or PDF generator from unreliable website, there is a chance that EasyMailLogin will be installed alongside without you even being aware of that. To avoid this happening always pay close attention to the installation process of freeware.
Never skip any steps and always opt out for a custom or advanced install mode if possible. This way you will be able to see all available options and make needed changes. Don’t rush because some of the most important information can be displayed in a very tiny font and you don’t want to overlook it. If during the installation you notice that some additional software that you are not aware of is being installed alongside – don’t allow this installation to be completed because it can possibly be EasyMailLogin or any other malware.
On behalf of developers of EasyMailLogin we were asked to remove this article due to false information on it. However, we feel like this post is correct and helpful to our readers. EasyMailLogin and other software developed by Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc. can be detected and recognised as viruses or potentially unwanted software by various anti-malware tools. Toolbars developed by Mindspark share same EULA (End User License Agreement) that is mislieding. It claims that this software is not an adware or malware, while there are statements that toolbars might display advertisements from 3rd parties or monetise toolbars in other ways. By definition such software is considered as an adware. All articles posted on www.2-viruses.com regarding products of Mindspark are correct.
