Have you received ‘Your browser has been locked’ warning message on your computer screen? It can show up and block your web browsers if your computer is infected with a FBI browser hijacker. You have been subjected to violation of Copyright and Related Rights Law (Video, Music, Software) and illegally using or distributing copyrighted contents, thus infringing Article 1, Section 8, Clause 8, also known as the Copyright of the Criminal Code of United States of America.
Article 1, Section 8, Cause 8 of the Criminal Code provides for a fine of two to five hundred minimal wages or a deprivation of liberty for two to eight years.
You have been viewing or distributing prohibited Pornographic content (Child Porno photos and etc were found on your computer). Thus violating article 202 of the Criminal Code of United States of America, Article 202 of the Criminal Code provides for a deprivation of liberty for four to twelve years.
Illegal access has been initiated from your PC without your knowledge or consent, your PC may be infected by malware, thus you are violating the law on Neglectful Use of Personal Computer. Article 210 of the Criminal Code provides for a fine of up to $100,000 and/or deprivation of liberty for four to nine years.

Don’t get too scared if this message shows up on your browser and locks the option to browse the Internet from you – you don’t need to pay a single penny in order to get back your web browser. In fact, they are asking for much more than a single penny – for a 300 ($450 in some cases) dollars and that’s quite an amount of money. There are other ways how to solve this problem in less time and money consuming way. Furthermore, even if you decide to pay that ransom, there is no guarantee that this virus creators will actually unlock your web browser. How to get rid of FBI Virus Hijacker manually
- Open Windows Task Manager. Press and hold CTRL ALT and Delete buttons on your keyboard at the same time.
- Find hijacked web browser and end this process. Depending on what web browser you are using you will need to end explore.exe, chrome.exe, Safari.exe, sea monkey.exe, opera.exe, or firefox.exe. Simply mark the process and click on the “End Process” button in the bottom right corner of the window.
