Isaver is annoying program listed as an adware and a PUP (potentially unwanted program). Once installed it starts to display a lot of disturbing advertisements on your web browser. This program is malicious and if you have noticed it on your computer, wait no more and uninstall it. It is not officially a virus, but a lot of people think that way because they can’t remember installing it. It is because unfair distribution methods of this adware.
Isaver works as a browser plug-in and can be added to all most popular web browsers, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. It shows a lot of pop-up and banner ads and disturbed your web browsing that way. In addition to that, this malicious application also silently collects your personal data like search queries or browsing history and adjust their ads according to that information so you are mole likely to click on them. Because Isaver is ad-supporter, it provides ads from third parties and that can lead to danger. If you click on those ads, you will be redirected to third parties websites which may be infected and do harm to your computer.
If you are wondering how this malicious program got onto your computer, the answer is easy – it usually travels bundled with other free software. I.e. then you download and install something from the Internet for free, there is a chance that Isaver will be installed alongside. In order to avoid this happening, you should be very careful during the installation of freebies. We recommend you not to skip any steps and opt out for a custom or advanced install mode. If possible, read terms and conditions as well. This way you will make sure you are aware of what are you installing.
