Majestic Coupons - How to remove

Majestic Coupons

Majestic Coupons is yet another annoying adware that gets installed to users’ computers without their awareness. Those ads can show up on your web browser in various forms, such as pop-ups, pop-unders or banner ads. Since Majestic Coupons is a browser add-on, it can be added to all most popular and widely used web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Even though developers of this adware promise that ti will enhance your browsing experience by providing you with a valuable coupons and commercial offers, discounts, you should not believe that. It’s because Majestic Coupons is an ad-supporter and all those offers that mostly appear on e-commerce websites like eBay or Amazon come from the third parties and are fake. If you click on one of those ads, you will be immediately redirected to the third parties websites that may be infected and do some damage to your computer. Furthermore, Majestic Coupons will collect your personal information like browsing history, search queries, ip address or top visited sites. This data will be transferred to the third parties later on and they will adjust their ads according to it to make the promotions more engaging to you. This adware is also listed as a PUP( (potentially unwanted program) so if you indicated it on your computer, it’s highly recommended to immediately get rid of it. Majestic Coupons generates web traffic and collects sales leads – they make money this way.

This adware is distributed the same way as most adware – bundled with other free software. i.e. when you download some freebies from a suspicious looking website, there is a chance that Majestic Coupons is bundled with it. That being said, in order to avoid this malicious application to be installed on your PC, you need to pay a close attention to an installation process of free software found on the Internet. Do not skip any steps and if possible opt out to a custom or advanced install mode. Read all terms and conditions and make sure you are aware of what is being installed. If you see some unwanted applications being installed – do not allow it. In case your computer is already infected with Majestic Coupons, we highly recommend to scan it with a trustworthy anti-malware like Spyhunter or malwarebytes.
