Malware Doctor is classified as a rogue anti-spyware application, because it uses false scan results and other misleading methods to convince you that your computer is seriously infected. This parasite is a copy of another rogue spyware remover called AntiSpy Knight. The creators of MalwareDoc didn’t even bother and left some files and elements unchanged.

Most of the time, Malware Doctor is promoted through the use of Trojans and other malware. The rogue may be also advertised on various malicious websites that display fake advertisements or provide free online anti-malware scanners. Usually, those websites will display fake alerts and notifications about dangerous infections. Eventually you will be redirected to the website that promotes Malware Doctor.

When installed, MalwareDoctor will scan your computer and display a list of infections. These infection, though, are all fake. To make things worse, this parasite will display legitimate Windows files as security threats. For example: Notepad.exe, regedit.exe, xcopy.exe and others. These files shouldn’t be removed, because they are required to ensure stable operation of Windows. What is more, Malware Doctor will flood your computer with fake security alerts. It may dramatically decrease your computer performance and hijack your internet browser, usually Intermet Explorer.

The main goal of MalwareDoctoris to trick you into buying the program. However, we strongly recommend you not do so. Instead, you must remove this parasite form your computer as soon as possible, because it may download even more malware onto your computer.
