About NiceNFree adware
Even though it’s presented as a useful application that will help you to save both your time and money when shopping online by providing you with various commercial links, coupons and deals, this is not true. All those coupons and deals are displayed in an annoying form of web advertisements, so you won’t save your time or your money because of NiceNFree.
Advertisements displayed by NiceNFree can come in all kinds of forms, such as pop-up, pop-under, in-text, banner or contextual advertisements. A new tab or even window with an advertisement can be opened on your web browser as well. Usually those ads appear on e-commerce websites, such as eBay or Amazon and offer you to purchase some particular goods at a better price rate. Don’t fall for that trick – usually those offers are fake, they’re just trying to win your attention and make you click on one of those advertisements this way.
We don’t recommend clicking on any of those advertisements displayed by NiceNFree because if you do so, you will be immediately redirected to other websites that may be owned by cyber criminals, such as hackers or scammers and this way your computer can get infected or in case you attempt to purchase something there you can even get scammed and lose your hard earned money.
NiceNFree can be described as an advertising network for cyber criminals. Since they are banned from all legitimate advertising platforms, they use adware like this to direct some traffic to their websites. This being said, if you keep NiceNFree installed on your computer, cyber criminals can reach your right on your web browser on a daily basis and that’s really dangerous.
The tool works as a browser add-on that can be added to all most popular web browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and even Safari. Once installed it will collect your personal information, such as browsing history, search queries, top visited sites or even your IP and email addresses. The third parties adjust those advertisements according to this information and make them even more relevant and attractive to you this way, so chances that you will click on one of those ads rise. And that’s the main goal of NiceNFree because its owners get paid for every click you make.
Distribution Methods of NiceNFree
You can get infected with NiceNFree simply by downloading and installing free software from the Internet. I.e. when you download and install some media player or PDF generator or other insignificant and small application, there is a chance that NiceNFree will be installed on your web browser as well, without even warning you about that. That’s why you need to pay a close attention to the installation process of freebies.
Never skip any steps and always opt out for a custom or advanced install mode if possible. This way you will be able to see all available options and make changes. Don’t rush because some of the most important information can be displayed in a very tiny font and you don’t want to overlook that. Reading all terms and conditions would be considered wise as well. In case it’s too late and your computer is already infected, wait no more and take needed actions to eliminate this from your system.
