Notificatoin is another annoying adware that once installed will display number of various ads on your browser while surfing the Internet. It is a quite old adware and chances that your computer will get infected with it is really low. However, you should be aware of it and not allow to disturb your web browsing. It works as a browser add-on and can be added to all most popular web browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. It is highly not recommended to click on ads displayed by this adware because they are delivered by third parties and may redirect you to websites that are infected. Furthermore, Notificatoin also collects users’ personal info like search queries or browsing history and use that information to adjust their ads by that data and make them more engaging to you. This malicious application collects sales leads any generates traffic – they make money this way. Even though it’s not officially a virus and can’t cause a lot of damage to your computer, a lot of users tend to think that it is a virus because they don’t remember downloading and installing this program. This is because Notificatoin is distributed bundled with other free software that can be found on the Internet. If you want to avoid this malicious application, be very careful during the installation of freebies. Opt out for a custom or advanced install mode and make sure no additional software is being installed behind your back. Do not skip any steps and read all terms provided by the install wizard.
