Outfox TV - How to remove

Outfox TV is a free (ad-supported) TV Service. It installs a windows sidebar on your PC and allows watching various TV channels. There is nothing wrong with the service they offer. Outfox pays money to people who distribute the program thus it is used by malware makers to earn some cash.

I rate OutFox TV as a potentially unwanted application that is distributed together with hijackers and rogue optimizers. While OutFox TV is harmless itself, it is a sign of serious adware infection thus it should not be taken lightly. For example, a simple 7-Zip (free utility) install includes OutFox TV, Conduit hijacker together with browser settings freezing malware, Optimizer Pro and other malware. This is not the best company for any software. OutFox TV uses outfox.tv domain name.

At the moment, Outfox TV is distributed by Fussion Installer bundles. The malware makers download legitimate software and distribute it together with less interesting programs in hopes that someone would either purchase full versions of these programs or click on advertisements. This is not a honest tactics.

I recommend to inspect your PC Control Panel for unwanted applications once you see OutFox bar. Scan your PC with Spyhunter or adwcleaner to identify more dangerous parasites that come distributed with this PUP.
