PriceBlink - How to remove

PriceBlink is an adware program that gets into your browser, changes its settings and causes some annoying activity there. The program can infiltrate into Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser. Once there it displays lots of advertisements when you are visiting websites like Walmart, Facebook, Ebay, Amazon and some others. The ads say that they have been brought by PriceBlink and offer finding the best price for various products. It may look like a useful program, but when it appears on your computer without your consent, it can be pretty annoying.

Typically, you get a program like this to your system when you are installing some free software to your computer. It is one of the best ways for the creators of such applications to promote their program although it is not really fair to do that. You can refuse installing PriceBlink at one of the steps of the installation however if you miss it and skip it, the program will be downloaded automatically.

The method that is used to install PriceBlink to computer makes this program an unwanted application. Although the program doesn’t damage the system by itself, it causes very irritating activity on your computer and complicates your work. Also, PriceBlink increases a risk of getting infected if you click on some malicious link, etc.

Be very careful when installing anything to your system and follow the installation steps, deselect any options to download unknown and unwanted applications. If you already noticed this program on your computer, remove PriceBlink from your system as soon as possible. Follow the instructions below to learn how to do it:

1. Scan your computer using antimalware program that removes adware and browser hijackers. We recommend using Spyhunter.
2. Go to Control Panel -> Add and Remove Programs -> Check if there are any unfamiliar applications having PriceBlink in their title. If you see any, remove them. It is also recommended to remove any other applications installed on the same day.
3. Remove the toolbar from all of Internet browsers:
   • For Internet Explorer: Go to “Tools” (or gear icon in Internet Explorer 9), -> “Manage Add-ons”. Look for PriceBlink and disable these entries.
   • For Google Chrome: Click on the wrench or bars icon on the top right of the screen; go to “Tools”-> “Extensions”. If you see any extensions related to PriceBlink, click on a trash can icon next to them.
   • For Mozilla Firefox: Go to “Tools” -> “Add-ons” -> “Extensions”. If you see any extensions related to PriceBlink, disable them.
4. Check if your home page and default search engine are changed to the one you always used. If you see any unfamiliar address, replace it with your own, e.g. google.com.
