About RinoReader adware
Even though it’s described as a useful application that will replace your default PDF documents reader and provide you with some additional features, this description is far from being true. First of all, RinoReader will display various advertisements on all of your web browsers. It works as browser add-on that can be added to all most common web browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer or even Safari. Once inside, it will display ads in all kinds of forms, such as pop-up, pop-under, in-text, banner or contextual advertisements. New tab or even window with advertisement on it can be opened on your web browser at any time as well.
Usually those ads displayed by RinoReader appear on e-commerce websites, such as eBay or Amazon and offers you to purchase some particular goods at very appealing price rate. Don’t fall for that trick – those offers most of the time are fake, they are just trying to win your attention and make you click on one of those ads this way. They get paid for every click you make, therefore their goal is to make those ads as attractive as possible.
Distribution Methods of RinoReader adware
You can get infected with this virus simply by downloading and installing some freeware from some unreliable website. For instance, when you download and install some PDF generator or download manager, RinoReader can come bundled with it and sneak in into your computer. To avoid this happening, always pay close attention to the installation process of freeware.
Never skip any steps and opt out for a custom or advanced install mode if possible. This way you will be able to see all available options and make changes. If you notice that some additional software that you are not aware of is being installed alongside – don’t allow this installation to be completed because it can possibly be RinoReader or any other unwanted application.
