The program is added after users install some other software, like video player, PDF creator, etc. as it comes bundled with free downloads. It can also convince users to install it as a useful piece of software. This is a typical way to distribute new applications of this type. Once installed SearchFlyBar2 Toolbar appears on all your browsers. You will probably not notice when exactly it was added. The aim of this application is to distribute a specific code of third parties with the intent of collecting information about your browsing habits, search queries as well as websites that you like to visit. Right click it & reset it; Type “browser.search.selectedengine” in the search box. Right click it & reset it; Search for ‘browser.newtab.url’. Right-click and reset. This will make sure that the search page won’t launch on each new tab. On Google Chrome: Click 3 horizontal lines icon on browser toolbar; Select Settings; Select Basics ->Manage Search engines; Remove unnecessary search engines from list; Go back to settings. On Startup choose open blank page ( you can remove undesired pages from the set pages link too). Please note, it is very important to scan your computer with a reliable antimalware program after SearchFlyBar2 Toolbar is removed as it might be your system got infected with viruses while having it.
