True PC Booster Master - How to remove

True PC Booster Master is a program that offers to make PCs run better by removing junk files and providing a better interface with its settings. But this optimizer is no different from Advance PC Solutions, PC Speeder Pro, The PC Power, and other applications that, instead of being helpful, just try to scare users into buying them.

True PC Booster Master is published by Econosoft and offers the phone number +1 (888)200-8889 for tech support. It is considered to be a potentially unwanted program. Some antivirus programs detect it despite the fact that True PC Booster Master is not malware because it’s still considered deceptive and dishonest.

This program might come in useful for some people and that’s fine – it probably won’t infect your PC with any malware or do anything harmful. The problem with True PC Booster Master is that it deceives users to get more sales and uses some aggressive distribution tactics.

True PC Booster Master is an unhelpful program that poses as a PC optimizer:

Type of threat
  • PUP (potentially unwanted program)
  • Scareware
True PC Booster Master problems
  • Unwanted installation
  • Misleading scan results
  • Unnecessarily frequent scans
  • Tricky manual removal
How the PUP is distributed

  • Scan your computer (SpyHunter) and remove suspicious software automatically

How to remove True PC Booster Master

To uninstall the program, go to the Control Panel and find True PC Booster Master, then uninstall it. Watch out for the misleading uninstall window that pops up in the Control Panel. In an effort to discourage unsatisfied users from uninstalling the program, True PC Booster Master’s creators made the option to remove the program printed in tiny letters in the same color as the background of the button and made nearly invisible, which might make it look like you can’t actually uninstall it manually.

If the program refuses to leave or if you’re concerned that some other suspicious programs are lurking in your PC, scan it with an antivirus scanner, like SpyHunter, which will find malicious files on your system.

How True PC Booster Master spreads

Potentially unwanted programs are rarely ever downloaded manually by users because they’re not useful or valuable. So, True PC Booster Master’s developers need to come up with other ways to get their software in people’s computers.

One of the most widespread strategies that PUP developers use is paying other developers to include the unwanted program in their software’s setup. This way, you might download a program totally unrelated to True PC Booster Master and get this PC optimizer installed without even knowing about it. The bundlers (the programs that bundle unwanted software with them) must disclose what they’re offering, however, they sometimes make an effort to hide the disclosure and make it difficult to notice.

Malicious ads, especially fake virus alerts online, are also used to trick users into downloading programs they don’t want or need. These websites start by saying that you have a virus and then claim that the way to get rid of that virus is to download a specific program, which always turns out to be some deceptive, paid PC (or Mac) optimizer.

True PC Booster Master is a PUP

Quoting from True PC Booster Master’s website, it can do these things:

  • Clear all junk and grim
  • Clear crashes,faults, warning,pop up
  • Increase pc performance
  • Work faster with eliminated system
  • Increase Pc readibility

True PC Booster Master tries to appear useful by detecting many problems on your computer even when your PC is totally healthy – even if you installed your Windows yesterday, the optimizer won’t be happy.

True PC Booster Master can be criticized for the way it finds totally harmless files and settings and then says that your computer performance is “Poor”, that your security is “Poor” because of those few files. This is not accurate. For example, True PC Booster Master wants to delete browser cookies and cache, which will log you out of some sites and make pages load slower for you. The correct way to label those files is by presenting them neutrally and warning the user about the consequences of deleting them.

If anything, using True PC Booster Master will slow down your computer. There’s some value in removing junk files from time to time, like every few months, and you can just use the free tools that Windows provides for this. However, True PC Booster Master runs all the time in the background and schedules frequent scans for your computer. If allowed, it removes valuable files like browser cache data used to speed up the loading of websites because it’s technically unnecessary and True PC Booster Master needs to appear like it’s doing something.

You could argue that True PC Booster Master at least collects various Windows functions into one program to make them easily accessible, but this optimizer’s user interface is confusing and not an improvement over Windows in any way.

At the end of the day, True PC Booster Master is meant to make money for its creators. It costs around $50 on its website and $10 when it offers a discount to those trying to uninstall it. Even though it doesn’t offer a good quality service, it gets paying users by convincing them that it will remove urgent, serious problems with their PC – problems that likely don’t exist.
