UpAurora browser, also referred to as UP Aurora, is a brand new web browser on the one hand and a pain in the neck on the other. It is designed for Windows OS. UpAurora browser does not have its official website nor does it have a security certification. And so you cannot download it voluntarily or trust it.
About UpAurora Browser
UpAurora browser writes a command line in the Command Prompt and makes itself your default web browser. The effect of having this browser, or to be more precise, this hijacker, on your computer is very much the same as having your legitimate browser infected with some browser hijacker. Your computer’s system becomes vulnerable to the possible exploitation of various malicious codes. Your browsing activities are under the magnifying glass. You are presented with altered search results where 3rd party advertising content is promoted. In fact, every website you visit, be it an authentic one or illegitimate, is drowned in advertisements, even those horrible full window banners. If you follow the web traffic you are encouraged to dog the footsteps of, you jeopardize your computers safety. Clicking on those ads (i.e. generating PPC (pay-per-click) revenue) and being redirected to suspicious 3rd party websites may fetch further malware and even the more obnoxious versions of it.
How does UpAurora Browser Get on Your Computer?
UpAurora hijacker could have been left on your computer’s system by other hijackware or adware. This add-on can be distributed by clicking on suspicious pop-ups and visiting dubious redirect URLs. These kind of apps are also spread through such questionable websites as gaming, gambling or pornographic ones. But the most common means of UpAurora’s distribution is ‘‘bundling’’. As a rule, this hijacker is bundled with free downloads. These bundles are spread all over the Internet. Thus, do not imagine yourself Alice in Wonderland, there will be no ‘‘eat me cakes & drink me potion’’ or ‘‘read me licenses & terms of use’’ offered you. You will have to take the initiative to read the supplemental documentation. Then, set the installation wizard in Advanced or Custom mode and patiently uncheck the pre-checked checkboxes of PUPs (potentially unwanted programs). Only then will you be set free.
It would be better if UpAurora hit the road. To help it do that you can employ the top security scanners such as Spyhunter, Malwarebytes or . For manual removal follow the instructions below.
