Virus Alarm - How to remove

Virus Alarm (also known as Virus Alarm Pro) is a rogue anti-virus program – one of the many scams found on the net today. This parasite uses the notorious trojan Zlob to enter the system. This is done by disguising the trojan as a video codec and placing it in various malicious websites. Virus Alarm uses disinformation to trick the user into thinking he is infected and therefore in need of the parasite’s “full version”, which is no different than the trial.

Upon entering the system, Virus Alarm will flood the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. The sole fact an infection exists is likely true, since Virus Alarm infection requires a certain degree of carelessness. Much like any other rogue, Virus Alarm will perform fake system scans, which produce reports containing false positives, or just plain old bullcensored.

Virus Alarm is a scam and should be treated as such: do NOT download or buy it and block it’s homepage using your HOSTS file.
