WinFix Master is yet another rogue scam: living proof that the makers of these scams are not the most original individuals. What does "WinFix Master" even mean? Looks like a rapper nickname. Regardless of meaning, WinFix Master is your typical rogue that infects the system by using trojans, such as Zlob or Vundo. This is done by exploiting browser security loopholes, which is why Internet Explorer users are the most common victims of such attacks.
Once inside and active WinFix Master will flood the user with popups, fake system notifications and whatnot, seemingly with the good intention of "informing" him that he is infected and providing him with a solution at the same time. There are a few problems with this, obviously: first of all, the infection is most likely non-existent on the system if at all and WinFix Master can’t fix anything, with the exception of the excess of money the user might have in his bank account.
In any case, DO NOT trust WinFix Master: remove it and all of its components ASAP if you’ve been infected.
