Y0utube.best is a malicious site that only exists to spam users with ads. The address Y0utube.best is made to look similar “Youtube.com” but they have nothing in common – it’s just some scammers taking advantage of Youtube’s name to spread their infection. Y0utube.best is one of those sites that copy the name of a well-known and trusted site (in this case, Youtube.com) to trick people into thinking that it’s trustworthy. It is not. How to stop Y0utube.best ads

Block notifications

If Y0utube.best is the only problem with your browser, then the fix is easy: change web notification permissions. You can manage them in your browser:

• Chrome – type “chrome://settings/content/notifications” in the address box.
• Safari – in the Safari menu, choose Preferences, Websites, Notifications.
• Edge (Chromium) – type “edge://settings/content/notifications” in the address box.
• Firefox – open Settings, Preferences, Privacy & Security, scroll down to Permissions, and click on Settings next to Notifications.

You should see a list of sites that are allowed to send notifications to your browser, including Y0utube.best. Next to each of them, there is a three-dot button. Press it to open a drop-down menu. Click Block (or Deny for Safari).

This stops the site from sending notifications. This doesn’t block the site itself, though.
