Turbo Your PC is controversial utility tool and you should think twice before purchasing it to say the least.
It is promoted as useful tool that will allow you to optimise and boost your computer. However, there are several issues that you should take into consideration. First of all, Turbo Your PC is not free as advertised – free version only scans your computer but in order to get something actually done you will be asked to purchase the premium version of this software. Secondly, it is completely not clear what you’ll receive – what improvements will be made and what specific problems you need to solve with this software.
You can download it from free at https://www.turboyourpc.com (see the picture below).
The installation is really simple and you will have Turbo Your PC installed within several minutes. Next step is to scan your computer with it. Scan usually takes about 5-10 minutes. After that, you will see results of the scan and various issues (see the picture below).
As you can see, Turbo Your PC declares that you are not using resources of your computer effectively and overall performance of your system could be improved. However, they do not specify how they will do that and that’s why some people say that it’s a scam.
Moving on, if you click the button “Fix Issues”, you will have to register – fill in your email and nickname. Immediately after that you will see a message like this:
As you can see, in order to “fix all of your errors, you need to activate your account fully”. And that will cost you $10.83. Cash out window looks like this:
If you find Turbo Your PC useful – feel free to purchase the premium version and use it. It won’t cause you any cyber security troubles. However, we highly doubt that it will bring some benefits to you, therefore investing money in application like this should be considered.
I found this to be a scam. First, they billed me a second charge on the same day – I rang their 1800 number and succeeded in getting it reimbursed. Then it added other software to my computer and I had to remove the program and clean out the settings it changed and put them back to my settings.
Now, I have checked my credit card and find that I am being billed each month.
I have now sought a complete refund.
